Unit 4, Lesson 5, part 5- "Find the nearest local, state, or national park that has a walking or hiking trail...once there look at a map of the park. Find a trail to go on with your parents..."This was music to Samuel's ears! He woke up at 5 am today - Sunday- wondering if it was time to go. We left the house at 6:40 am, drove by Whataburger for a few breakfast burritos and orange juice, and headed to the park. The weather was perfect and the trail he chose was short.
We also have now confirmed that Samuel is a "ride in the car" type of explorer! All those spiders and spider webs were not fun to walk into!!
