Meteor Crater

Samuel was excited to visit  the Arizona Meteor Crater. 

It almost seems unreal that a rock fell so fast from so far and formed this gigantic hole in the ground!
(this, of course, is my own scientific explanation...)

It was an extremely windy day.  Sometimes you had to stop walking and just hold on to the rails.

 Look closely at the guy in red...that's Jose being blown away by the wind!

I am sure if we would have been allowed to go all the way to the bottom of the crater, at sunset, the picture would have looked exactly like this....
