This is one of Samuel's reading/copy work exercises. After reading a story from the lesson (Reading Made Easy lesson 40) I write one of the sentences that was read, then he copies it right below mine. Then he must draw a picture (he traced this one all by himself), then he dictated a sentence to go with the picture, which I wrote on another piece of paper and then he copied under his picture.
I am amazed at what a 5 1/2 year old can do in 5 months and good days like today make the battles in between almost forgettable...is that a word?
