Benjamin Franklin's Kite

Artistic Expression is always interesting in our HOD curriculum and for Unit 10 Samuel painted strips of color on white paper. Orange and violet he mixed from the correct primary colors, then after the paint dried he cut the paper into a diamond shape, added some yarn for the tail and created a kite.

Then Samuel asked. "When the rain comes can we take it out and experiment like Benjamin Franklin?" - Uhhhhh, No! was my response. He was just kidding...

(can you tell how much he likes to take pictures?)
