Spain

For a boy who loves to travel, goes to bed thinking about airplanes and airports and tucks away maps under his pillow (to read instead of sleeping...), May 15, 2012 was the happiest day of his life.  Yep, that is exactly what he labeled it as we waited to board the plane to Madrid, Spain.

Walking in the unknown busy city of Malaga, Spain after traveling for 10+ hours and 2 airplanes was a little shocking for Samuel who lives in Texas country, but he handled it quite well.

The food in Malaga was so good.  We were blessed to be able to stay with Carolina, Samuel's cousin who is about 20 years older than him, but loved him just the same.  Carolina is an awesome cook and she prepared Spanish tortilla (soft and savory), fresh salad (crunchy too...) and chicken (yeah!).

The elevator to her 10th floor apartment was tiny, tiny...like a little adventure each time we got in!

But his first day in Malaga was fun, fun, fun!
